All-inclusive! Your ticket price covers the guided Greenmarket Tour or visit to an Ethnic Market, your choice of a Cuban Coffee or Fresh Juice at the Greenmarket, a treat at the Greenmarket, cooking class, recipes and a 3-course lunch with wine.

The tour runs rain or shine, so come prepared with an umbrella or raincoat otherwise, we’ll provide you with a lovely poncho! Welcome to sunny Florida, but be prepared for brief downpours in the summertime. Don’t worry, we’ll linger a little longer at a restaurant if we need to wait for a storm to pass. In the unlikely event of a cancellation due to severe weather, we will attempt to re-schedule your tour or provide a refund.  If severe weather is forecast, please pay close attention to your email for any changes or cancellations of your tour.

The tour includes 1 1/2 miles of easy walking (no hills) over a 3 hour period with plenty of air-conditioned stops and 5 seated tastings.  Our longest walk without stopping is 3 1/2 blocks.

We will be using an air-conditioned van to go between restaurants, so walking is minimal.  At the beginning of the tour, we have a short 1/4 mile walk.

Minimal walking will be done in the Greenmarket (less than 1/4 mile).

Arrive hungry because our food tours include 14 tastings at 6 restaurants. It is rare that a guest finishes our tour feeling hungry and wanting more food! A light breakfast is recommended.

Your best bet is the Evernia Street Parking Garage, located at 333 Evernia St.  Parking is $1 per hour.  Our first tasting location is just 1 block from the garage, and the tour finishes 1 block from the garage.  You will also find metered parking along Evernia Street…just make sure  you choose a meter that allows you to park for a little over 3 hours.  Credit cards are accepted at both the parking garage and meters.

Free parking is available at The Grandview Public Market located 5 minutes south of downtown West Palm Beach.  Parking instructions and exact meeting point will be on your tour confirmation.

Free Parking is available in the Banyan Garage located at 195 N. Narcissus Avenue for our Greenmarket Tour & Cooking Class. Our tour meets just 1 block from the garage.  Ample free parking is available at Judith’s home where the actual cooking takes place.

The lunch prepared during the cooking class will vary each week depending on the market we tour. Expect it to be prepared with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.

Check the weather and dress appropriately, and shorts are perfectly acceptable. Don’t forget sun protection (sunglasses, hat, sunscreen) and comfortable shoes. Water will be provided throughout the tour, but you may want to bring along an extra water bottle in the summertime.

Absolutely!  The Dixie Dining Corridor is a rapidly changing, up & coming area just south of Downtown West Palm Beach.  We’ll meander through the beautiful historic neighborhoods between restaurant stops, and you’re certain to discover many hidden gems and tropcial courtyards.  You’ll even get to peak inside a Spanish-style bed and breakfast inn!

Children are welcome, but please keep in mind that this is a 3-hour, 1.5 mile walking tour, and some children do not have the stamina or attention span to enjoy it. You know your children best. Please note that we do offer 1 alcohol tastings, and a non-alcoholic beverage will be provided for children.  We offer a discounted rate of $45 for children 12 and under, and children 3 and under are free.  Children 3 and under are welcome to share your food.

We absolutely do! We can accommodate a variety of special requests (family reunions, Birthday parties, out of town guests, corporate, conventions, girls weekends or just for the fun of it.  Private tours are available for 8 guests to 24 guests.  Please see more information on our Private Tour page.

At this time, our tours are only offered in English.

It can be tempting to buy a souvenir along the way, but we ask that you please wait until the end of our tour. We want to make sure that our hot food is hot and our cold food is cold when we arrive at each restaurant. Even a 5 minute shopping stop can throw us off schedule. Our tour brochure includes great shopping recommendations, and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction at the end of the tour.

There will be a short amount of time to do a little shopping at the Greenmarket or at an Ethnic Market. We suggest arriving early if you want more shopping time at the Greenmarket. Although the Greenmarket does not officially open until 9:00, most vendors are set-up and ready to do business by 8:30.
