Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour
Your guided food tour is all-inclusive! Your ticket price covers the guided tour, all food and drink tastings as well as restaurant gratuity. Tour guide gratuity is not included but greatly appreciated. There is an option to purchase 2 additional cocktails with your ticket.

Our tour has 1 alcoholic drink tasting (a small wine cocktail) as well as a non-alcoholic version. If you would like additional alcoholic beverages, you will have an option to select an alcohol pairing when purchasing your tickets which will add 2 small craft cocktails.  In an effort to keep the tour on schedule, substitutions are not available.

P.S. – The legal drinking age is 21.

Yes! We will do our best to provide substitute tastings for most dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan, allergies) with advance notice. In cases of multiple food restrictions or allergies, a substitute may not be possible.  Please indicate your restrictions when purchasing your tickets.  If you would like to know the substitutions prior to purchasing your ticket, please email us at info@westpalmbeachfoodtour.com.

No! We cannot accommodate food restrictions and allergies.

The tour runs rain or shine, so come prepared with an umbrella or raincoat otherwise, we’ll provide you with a lovely poncho! Welcome to sunny Florida, but be prepared for brief downpours in the summertime. Don’t worry, we’ll linger a little longer at a restaurant if we need to wait for a storm to pass. In the unlikely event of a cancellation due to severe weather, we will attempt to re-schedule your tour or provide a refund.  If severe weather is forecast, please pay close attention to your email for any changes or cancellations of your tour.

Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour
The tour includes 1 mile of easy walking (no hills) over a 3 hour period with plenty of air-conditioned stops and 5 seated tastings.  Our longest walk without stopping is 3 blocks.

Market Tour & Cooking Class
Minimal walking will be done in the Greenmarket (less than 1/2 mile), and during the Cooking Class you will be seated most of the time.

Arrive hungry because our food tours include 13 tastings at 7 restaurants. It is rare that a guest finishes our tour feeling hungry and wanting more food! A light breakfast is recommended.

Your best bet is the Evernia Street Parking Garage, located at 333 Evernia St.  Parking is $1 per hour.  Our first tasting location is just 1 block from the garage, and the tour finishes 1 block from the garage.  You will also find metered parking along Evernia Street…just make sure  you choose a meter that allows you to park for a little over 3 hours.  Credit cards are accepted at both the parking garage and meters.

Free Parking is available in the Banyan Garage located at 195 N. Narcissus Avenue. Our tour meets just 1 block from the garage.

Market Tour & Cooking Class

The lunch prepared during the cooking class will vary each week depending on the market we tour. Expect it to be prepared with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. Judith favors the Mediterranean style of cooking / eating.

Check the weather and dress appropriately, and shorts are perfectly acceptable. Don’t forget sun protection (sunglasses, hat, sunscreen) and comfortable shoes. Water will be provided throughout the tour, but you may want to bring along an extra water bottle in the summertime.

Our meeting point varies depending on the Market we’ll be touring. The exact meeting point and directions will be printed on your e-tickets. Please note that you will be required to drive from the Market Tour to the Cooking Class. We will provide you with a map and directions.

The West Palm Beach Food Tour is also an excellent way to entertain and feed your out-of-town guests.

Yes. All sidewalks have ramps at the street crossings, and all restaurants are wheelchair and scooter accessible.

Unfortunately, Judith’s home and kitchen are not set-up to accommodate wheelchairs.

Children are welcome, but please keep in mind that this is a 3-hour, 1 mile walking tour, and some children do not have the stamina or attention span to enjoy it. You know your children best. Please note that we do offer 1 alcohol tastings, and a non-alcoholic beverage will be provided for children.  We offer a discounted rate of $45 for children 12 and under, and children 3 and under are free.  Children 3 and under are welcome to share your food.

Children ages 16+ are welcome! Our younger generation has grown-up with the Food Network, and they love this event.

Yes, tickets must be purchased in advance because our food orders are placed long before we step foot in the restaurants.

If you have a deliciously fun time, tips are appreciated. In the tourism industry, it is customary to tip your guide 15%-20%.

Bathrooms stops are built in to the beginning, middle and end of the tour. If needed, bathrooms are available at all 6 tasting locations.

We absolutely do! We can accommodate a variety of special requests (family reunions, Birthday parties, out of town guests, corporate, conventions, girls weekends or just for the fun of it.  Private tours are available for 6 guests to 24 guests.  Please see more information on our Private Tour page.

At this time, our tours are only offered in English.

It can be tempting to buy a souvenir along the way, but we ask that you please wait until the end of our tour. We want to make sure that our hot food is hot and our cold food is cold when we arrive at each restaurant. Even a 5 minute shopping stop can throw us off schedule. Our tour brochure includes great shopping recommendations, and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction at the end of the tour.

There will be a short amount of time to do a little shopping at the Greenmarket. We suggest arriving early if you want more shopping time. Although the Greenmarket does not officially open until 9:00, most vendors are set-up and ready to do business by 8:30.
